When employed with the AH-64D Longbow mm radar concentrating on system, the missile will also be geared up with a millimeter-radar seeker, which allows "fireplace and neglect" operation in adversarial weather, mud and smoke. The Longbow missiles are fully compatible with the launchers carried on the Longbow Apache which also carry the AGM-114K/M laser guided missiles. Beside autonomous homing on targets designated by the Longbow Hearth Management system, the missile can even use superior modes, at present being upgraded to the system, which provide dwelling-in on lively jammers that attempt to degrade or disable the missile. The missile may also receive advanced countermeasures to defeat and cancel jammers.
